Vernon Ingram - President and CEO

Vern Ingram is the founder and President of Ingram Engineering, Inc (IEI). He is a Navy veteran of 24 years, where he served both as enlisted and commission officer. He is a graduate from the University of Washington (go Huskies) and received his Masters in Electrical Engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA. He holds a TS/SCI security clearance.
Vern served in the following positions during the course of his Naval career: Cryptologic Officer, Electronic Maintenance Officer, Collection and Reporting Officer, and Electronic Warfare Officer with the Naval Security Group at various shore stations. He has also served in Combat Cryptologic, Electrical Warfare, and Direct Support operations. As an enlisted Electronics Technician, he has served in various leadership, training, and technical positions worldwide.
He has been a project manager for XEN Corporation and CACI International and has served as a member of the Board of Directors for XEN. He established IEI in 2001, which provides the intelligence community and DoD with systems engineering and acquisition services. Under his leadership, IEI now supports projects in Denver, CO, San Jose, CA and the Washington, DC area. Through the outstanding quality of service provided by his own efforts and those of his employees, IEI continues to exceed its goals while meeting the rigid requirements for designation as an 8(a) certified company with the SBA.
Vern is married to the former Joyce Lynch of Nashville, NC. They have four children and three grandchildren.

Dexter Ingram - VP, Business Development and Government Relations |

Dexter Ingram is the Vice President for Business Development and Government Relations of Ingram Engineering, Inc. Recently he was appointed by the White House to serve on the Board of Visitors for National Defense University and was named a Senior Fellow at George Washington University’s Homeland Security Policy Institute.
Dexter has over thirteen years of military, legislative, and private sector experience, specializing in national security and terrorism policy. Previously, he was the Director of Information Security Policy at the Business Software Alliance (BSA), where he represented major technology companies on global security policy.
Before joining BSA, Dexter served as a professional staff member for the House Select Committee on Homeland Security. Prior to the Select Committee, he worked as a threat assessment specialist for the Heritage Foundation, analyzing non-conventional world threats for policy makers and the media.
Dexter has appeared on networks including CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, and BBC. In addition, his work has been featured on ABC News "This Week," NBC News "Dateline NBC," USA Today, The Washington Post, Time Magazine, and U.S. News & World Report.
A former Naval Flight Officer, he is certified by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency in critical infrastructure consequence modeling. As an adjunct professor, Dexter has taught Mass Communication and Public Policy at George Mason University. He currently teaches Public Policy and Administration at the Homeland Security University.
Dexter holds a Bachelor of Science from Hampton University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma. He resides in Washington, DC.

Veronica Lawson - Director of Intelligence Operations |

Veronica Lawson, a former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, is Director of Intelligence Operations for Ingram Engineering, Inc. She currently works for U.S. Southern Command in Miami, Florida, where she provides intelligence support to information operations (IO) analysts.
As an Air Force officer, Veronica worked to define IO doctrine while serving as the Chief of the Information Operations Branch for the Air Force Cryptologic Office at the National Security Agency (NSA). While at NSA, Veronica also provided direct support to Air Force field sites worldwide, as well as deployed to Korea for analytical support.
Prior to the NSA, Veronica worked for the National Air (and Space) Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio . She served as chief of the watch, an intelligence analyst, and the executive officer. While at Wright-Patterson, Veronica deployed to Turkey as an air defense analyst in support of Operation NORTHERN WATCH.
Veronica has her Bachelors degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Virginia. She also completed the Air Force Intelligence Officer School at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas.
Veronica is married to Bryan Lawson, and together they have three beautiful children: Deja, Vincent, and Avery.
